A double-whammy of birthday celebrations this weekend. Hurrah!! First up was Sandrine's belated birthday dinner at the Pure Café - excellent food, wine, company etc. Very relaxed and mellow, a perfect way to ease into the weekend. And the birthday girl looked radiant. In fact, everyone looked radiant to me after a few glasses of excellent vino, with a golden halo around them - lovely. Or is it the cataracts coming back? ANYWAY, Rhino75 barely had time to pop a paracetamol before the next party tsunami on Sunday. This time it was for Colin's birthday and his lady, the lovely Miss FVE, had the bright idea of hiring a bus and filling it with people and champagne - a sort of alcoholic version of that stunt where you have to cram 45 students into a Morris Minor. Wigs were worn, there's no denying it, and the whole thing was tremendous fun. I even managed to talk *showbiz* (am
so 24/7) to an actor/director who's currently trying to put on a show just off the Champs Elysées (French readers: details
ARE available upon request, but big names...). Everyone was
hammered beyond belief which always helps to keep the conversation flowing. Then it was back to the Rush bar for a dance and a few for the road. An excellent Sunday. :-)

That steve fella has lovely eyes! :)
;-) You should see 'em this morning - all red with dark circles!
Really? That's total HOTNESS! =)
::blush:: :-)
OH Rhino! With your blue hat on, you look just like Leslie (la chanteuse)!
Details with big names required please...
HAHA!! She didn't have a beard last time I looked, tho'? I'll tease you a bit longer on the big names...the initials are PC, FT and SF (she is quite big...)
oh dear, it's too hard, I'm bad at initials. SF= Sophie Favier? Séline Fion? PC= Patrick Cruel? FT= Faye Tunnaway???
More hints please!
Party, party, party!
I think micke has been lying when he says all you do is slouch on the couch all weekend.
Or maybe I feel a desperate and deep-seated need to prove to you all just how much FUN I really am by stealing pictures off the internet and inserting the odd photo of myself to make it look as if I was there too. Could be either, really... The cat pics are all genuine though :-)
I wasn't lying, Rhino is one lazy ass who munches on Oreo cookies under he blanket in front of bad TV programs. However, he does turn into a extravagant diva on a regular basis. A real party animal, really! He chooses not to write about his being a lazy ass though. I know because it takes one to know one. I have super powers to find the lazy-assness in people.
Are those candles really meant to look that phallic? The red balls are a bit baboon-like, don't you think?
Aha, we did actually do some "figurative" art (ahem!) with them towards the end of the evening (you won't be surprised to hear) The red strawberry sweets are called "fraises tagada" and are delish!!
Ooooh I love fraises tagada... Still waiting for the big name teaser...
I think all right-thinking boys do, Micke!! If I can galvanize myself into "cooking" action this weekend, I may even buy some and make this beauty as a special treat...
I am soooo free on Friday night, you know!
I really love looking at your photos and you do it with such style. So much so you have inspired me to put photos on my own blog. Keep partying and remain fabulous.
