But just in case you were worried, the REST of Saturday was spent entertaining Nick who was visiting from London to do something wonderful with books and children. Within hours minutes (helped by a couple of bottles of champagne and some of Noodle's *killa* homemade margaritas) he'd stripped off his nicotine patch and was initiating us into the finer points of Madonna's new dance routines and backing vocals (hence the "my sisters and me" from "Jump"). Those who've been reading for a while will remember that Nick is a bit of an expert on her Madgesty's routines. His karaoke performance of "Borderline" (see here for the photo) reduced several grown men, including myself, to tears. Triffic fun had by all and lovely to see him.
