Off to the Beach

pier storm, originally uploaded by rhino75.

Yup, off to Brighton for the weekend for parties and fun!! In fact, it's the first of three (count 'em) visits to the U.K. this month - ah, the old country is calling me back... :-). I'm rather excited, dear reader, because this is the first time I've taken the Eurostar since they switched the terminus to St. Pancras so I shall definitely be trying out Europe's longest champagne bar - 90 metres of fun if ever there was. Bon voyage to me!! P.S. No, still haven't bought an iPhone. Such willpower!!

I can't help: St Pancras sounds too much like "Saint Pancreas", which is kind of weird. But I think it's a big relief for all Napoleon lovers here in France that the train is not arriving to "Waterloo" anymore...

I can't wait to see how Saint Pancréas look, though :P
