Why do things always get so fabulous when you're around Rhino?
If that sort of thing went on in the bars of Bexleyheath, I might be tempted to reverse my "officially retired from socialising" stance. Don't know if I'd be up to singing a hundred verses of La Vie En Rose, though.
I do like that there Edith Piaf, but the English translations of her song lyrics are always rubbish! Much better in French ...
Sis, Betty, it was a top night, there were some real characters in there. The best bit was our request - "Padam" (another Piaf classic) - which we forgot to film bcause we were so into it. The bar went mad and we were hamming it up (I know that's hard to believe, but true) like there was no tomorrow.v Full marks to Micke for finding the place. I shall be looking out for the Brighton and Bexleyheath versions...
