Rhino75's Road Trip

Like the Pointer Sisters, I'm so excited and I just can't hide it. Tomorrow my friend (and longtime musical collaborator) Col arrives for a few days at Rhino75 Towers and then on Friday morning, we're setting off on our Awfully Big Adventure - the Rhino75 inaugural road trip!! Our destination: somewhere south, with a leaning towards Marseille. We're a bit constrained by time as the demands of *showbiz* require us to part company Sunday evening so I can get the train back to Paris, but it's going to be such FUN!! He'll be doing all the driving, so I can take charge of map reading (oh-oh, I once got a whole group of us hopelessly lost in Costa Rica through my inability to hold a map for longer than 15 seconds without falling asleep) and musical programming (think The Carpenters and Anita Ward's "Ring My Bell" - for a nine-hour stretch - "be-e-ell, ring my bell, ding-dong-ding aaaaaahh" fab, no?). The last time we travelled together was five years ago in Thailand. Then we got off to a rather inauspicious start with me turning up 12 hours late in Bangkok, having booked my plane ticket from London rather than Paris without realising. But I'm sure this time it's all going to go swimmingly!!! Get ready for the pics...

All set and ready to get the funkmobile heated up and on the autoroute! And don't worry I've been practising my mantra which (hopefully) avoids any tedious head-on collisions whilst driving on "the Continent": "Keep In The Gutter" (best place for me, most would say). I can't wait! Watch out France! (erm, especially for any silver VWs that might be heading straight towards you).

A demain mon pot! Col.

Have a fab time!! having witnessed and even taken part in a few of the singalong with Col sessions (inparticular the one where I had 1hr sleep and a gallon of red wine the evening before starting my brand new job!!) - I predict a fab road trip ahead!!! Obviously you'll be taking a guitar and a Casio keyboard!!! Sis.XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
