I'd forgotten but today marks the start of the Cannes Film Festival. If you want to see a list of the films that are competing for the honours, click here. I haven't seen any of them, of course, though would quite fancy the von Trier and the van Sant (aha! Obviously have a fetish for those Germanic titles - see, still learning about myself every day.)
